Course Description

 

This course is a survey of wildlife conservation and management.  That means we will paint with a broad brush as we discuss a broad spectrum of topics related to wildlife conservation.  It will be stressed that wildlife conservation is a social process encompassing both lay and professional activities that define and seek to attain wise use of wildlife resources including their habitats.  In addition to introducing you to the science of wildlife conservation, we will also identify and discuss the role of government wildlife agencies and private wildlife organizations.
