Outreach and Extension
Outreach and
extension programs of School of Forest Resources faculty are
delivered through the Arkansas Forest Resources Center.
The Arkansas Forest Resources Center, a University of Arkansas
Center of Excellence, is a collaboration among the Arkansas
Agricultural Experiment Station, the Arkansas Cooperative
Extension Service, and the School of Forest Resources that
focuses on developing and delivering superior programs in
education, research and extension that enhance and insure the
sustainability of forest-based natural resources.
Faculty are
actively involved in developing and delivering a wide variety of
outreach and extension products related to natural resources.
These include landowner workshops, management demonstration
projects, youth programs, natural resources fact sheets, and
continuing education seminars and workshops for professionals.
More information on outreach and extension activities of School
and Center faculty can be found on the Arkansas Forest Resources
Center website.
