Colleagues in the West Siberian Branch of the Sukachev Institute of Forests

(My apologies for those not pictured here!)

My colleague and good friend, Vladimir Nikolaevich Sedykh.  Dr. Sedykh is the Chief Scientist of the West-Siberian Branch of the V.N. Sukachev Institute of Forests in Novosibirsk.

Valeriy Ivanovich Baranowski, Director of the West Siberian (Novosibirsk) Branch of the Sukachev Institute of Forests.  He is a forest protection specialist by training, specializing in forest insect pests.

Tatiana, Angelika, and Nikolai.  Tatiana is the Institute's translator, Angelika is a forestry student.  Nikolai is a forest engineer who has recently taken work with a private forest inventory firm.

Here I am with Sergei and Angelika.  Sergei is a driver, mechanic, and man of many talents.
