Attendees are required to make their own room reservations.  Please be sure to mention you are with the Society of American Foresters Symposium when you make your reservations.

A block of rooms has been reserved at a room rate of $119/night + tax  (single or double occupancy).  A very limited number of rooms are available at the current U.S. Government per diem rate ($91/night + tax) and can be reserved at this price only by those employed by the U.S. Government.  All others must pay the $119/night rate.  The block of rooms and the room rate will be held until Sunday, August 1, 2006.  After which, room availability and price are subject to change.

Transportation

Getting to Burlington, Vermont by air:

Essex, Vermont is less than 10 minutes from Burlington, Vermont.  Several major U.S. airlines (Continental, Delta, jetBlue, Northwest, United, and US Airways)  serve Burlington International Airport (BTV) with excellent connections through Boston, New York, Atlanta, and other major US airline hubs.  More information on airline travel to Burlington can be found at this website:

Local transportation:

Burlington International Airport (BTV) does have shuttle service to The Inn at Essex.  Rental cars are also available from several firms located at or near the airport.  Attendees who wish to use the shuttle bus should inform the Inn at Essex when they make their hotel reservations.
