Explanation of SA88_45.dat

A total of 45 trees were thinned from inner plots at age 30. Stem analysis data were compiled by Weyerhaeuser Co. and collected by Dave Bower, Jill Janssen, and 6 others on March 28, 29, and 30 in 1988.

4. Total tree height (equal to height above stump + stump height - in feet)

5. Height above stump (in feet)

6. Stump height (in feet)

7. Height to first live limb (in feet)

8. Diameter at crown base (in inches)

9. Diameter outside bark (in inches)

10. Diameter outside bark in perpendicular direction (in inches)

11. Diameter inside bark (in inches)
