Monticello Thinning and Pruning Study
Long-term observations of a loblolly pine stand planted in 1958-1959

On October 10-13, 2006 the International Union of Forestry Research Organizations (IUFRO) held a conference at Charleston, South Carolina based on sustainable forest management with fast growing plantations.  A paper titled "Long Term Growth Records of a Loblolly Pine Planation" was presented by Dr. Boris Zeide and John Stephens.  This paper was based on the Monticello Thinning and Pruning Study records.

All summary tables below relate to the paper titled "Long Term Growth Records of a Loblolly Pine Planation" presented at the IUFRO Conference at Charleston, South Carolina, Oct. 10-13, 2006.

Tables 1-10 summarize data by basal area treatment.  StdErr stands for standard error associated with each mean value.
