A         0-8 cm.  Brown (7.5YR 5/2) moist silt loam; medium granular structure, friable, common very fine, fine and medium roots; many surface stones, gradual wavy boundary.

 

EB/BE    8-20 cm.  Strong brown (7.5YR 4/6) moist loam; moderate angular blocky, friable, common fine and medium roots, abrupt wavy boundary.

 

Bt1       20-58 cm.  Dark red (2.5YR 3/6) moist clay; few fine distinct brownish yellow redoximorphic features (10YR 6/6), weak prismatic structure, common thick clay skins on ped faces, firm, common fine and medium roots, gradual wavy boundary.

 

Bt2       58-81 cm.  Red (2.5YR 4/6) moist clay; many medium prominent very pale brown redoximorphic features (10YR 7/4), weak prismatic structure, common thick clay skins on ped faces, very firm, common fine roots, gradual wavy boundary.

 

Bt3       81-120 cm.  Red (2.5YR 4/7) moist clay; many medium prominent very pale brown redoximorphic features (10YR 7/4), weak prismatic structure, common fine clay skins on ped faces, very firm, common fine roots, gradual wavy boundary.

 

Bt4       120-160 cm.  Red (2.5YR 4/8) moist clay; many medium prominent very pale brown redoximorphic features (10YR 7/4), weak prismatic structure, common fine clay skins on ped faces, very firm.
