THE CENTER'S VISION

       The Arkansas Forest Resources Center will serve as a highly regarded source of forest resources knowledge and be broadly recognized for its service to society through the discovery, synthesis and dissemination of new and existing information. It's integrated programs will assist in achieving sustainable forest and related resources and an improved quality of life for the people of Arkansas, the south-central region, the nation, and the world.

THE CENTER'S MISSION

       The mission of the Arkansas Forest Resources Center is to develop and deliver superior  programs in education, research and extension that enhance and insure the sustainability of forest- based natural resources.

PRINCIPLES GUIDING DEVELOPMENT

       Center personnel are committed to following a responsible path of development delineated by an essential set of principles. They are:
